At the Texas 1000 Project, our mission is to help you turn your entrepreneurial dreams into reality. We exist to empower aspiring business owners like you by providing the resources, funding, and support you need to launch and sustain a successful company. Through our LLC Grant and Funding Readiness Program, we aim to create 1,000 sustainable businesses. In 2025, we’re looking to add 50 new LLCs to the Texas economy, and you could be one of them.

Our Limited Liability Corporation Grant & Funding Readiness program offers small business owners asset protection and small business funding training.

This program equips diverse entrepreneurs, especially from Black and Brown communities, with essential skills to navigate complex funding challenges effectively. By enabling access to crucial capital, we're fostering a robust, inclusive entrepreneurial landscape in Texas, advancing one LLC at a time.

How You Can Get Started:

If you reside in Texas and want to elevate your business by registering it as a Limited Liability Corporation, this grant opportunity is tailored for you. The Texas 1000 Project aims to provide you with a grant of up to $600.00 for the registration and fees of the State of Texas Limited Liability Corporation formation. This grant can provide the necessary resources to compete effectively in today's business landscape.

Schedule Your LLC Grant Consultation: Meet with our team to discuss how we can support your business, guide you through the grant process, and provide access to resources and mentorship.
Submit Your Business Plan:

Upload a brief plan outlining your vision and how you’ll achieve success.
Get Approved and Funded;

Receive a grant to form your LLC, access 1:1 mentorship, and join our Funding Readiness Program for personalized support.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet program requirements including, but not limited to:

Identification:

Applicants must possess a valid Identification Card or Texas Driver's License.

Proof of Address:

Applicants must provide posted mail with their name that matches the provided ID or driver's license.

Bank Account:

Applicants must have a bank account or a registered D.B.A. (Doing Business As) entity in Texas.

Sales Proof:

Applicants must show proof of 8 to 12 months of sales.

Business Planning:

Applicants are required to complete a Mini Business Plan worksheet and 2 to 5-year Goals worksheets within 30 days.

First LLC in Texas:

The LLC being formed must be the applicant's first LLC in the State of Texas.

Business Checking Account:

Applicants must be capable of opening a business checking account.

Training Classes:

Participants must attend 2 of our virtual online training classes as part of the program requirements.

Upon completion participants will receive:

State of Texas Registered Limited Liability Corporation
EIN Number
LLC Operating Agreement
Access to our Financial Business Network.

We reserve the right to deny all applicants that have falsified information or the applicant is pursuing to establish a business for illegal activities.

The applicant's information will be reviewed and processed upon completion of the requirements.

Applicants will be informed of the approval or denial of the grant application.
