Spring 2026 LLC Grant Support Program
At the Texas 1000 Project, we help turn your business dreams into reality by providing the resources and support you need to start and grow your company. Through our LLC Grant and Small Business Development Program, we're aiming to create 1,000 sustainable businesses in The State of Texas.
From February 2026 through June 2026, our goal is to help launch 25 new LLCs in Harris County—and you could be one of them.

3-Step Process to Apply for the Texas 1000 Project LLC Grant
This grant does not provide monetary funds but offers valuable services and training to support your business growth.
If you live in Texas and want to register your business as an LLC, this grant offers up to $2,000.00 in small business support which includes LLC formation fees and 12 months of small business support to help you succeed.

*Please Read Qualifications Before You Apply*
To be eligible for the Spring 2026 LLC Grant Program you must be a Licensed State of Texas Barber, Cosmetologist, or Nail Tech operating in Harris County and show verifiable proof of operating in a licensed establishment along with the following requirements:

Identification:

Provide a valid Identification Card.

Proof of Address:

Submit a posted mail document with your name that matches the ID or driver’s license provided.

Bank Account:
-
Applicants must have an active bank account.

Sales Proof:
-
Show proof of 8 to 12 months of business sales.

Business Planning:
-
Complete a Mini Business Plan worksheet and submit a 3-year strategic plan within 30 days.

This is Your First LLC in The State of Texas:

The LLC being formed must be your first LLC registered in the State of Texas.

Training Classes:
-
Attend 2 virtual or in-person training classes as part of the program requirements
-
If you meet all of the requirements and approved there will be a $79.00 administrative fee for processing your LLC Formation Documents.

Step 1: Submit Your Application

Complete and submit your application to begin the process.

We will review your application to ensure it meets the program qualifications.

If you do not qualify, we will notify you within 10 business days.

Step 2: Check Your Email

The email will include the Mini Business Plan form and instructions for completing it.

Step 3: Submit Your Documents and Schedule Your LLC Consultation

Email your completed Mini Business Plan and application to texas1000project@gmail.com.

Once both documents are received and verified, we will send you a link to schedule your LLC Consultation.

1. If I already have an LLC, can I attend the training classes?​
Yes! Our training classes are open to all entrepreneurs, whether you are just starting or already have an established business. These sessions provide valuable insights on business growth, funding, marketing, and scaling strategies.

2. If I already have an LLC in the state of Texas, can I apply for the LLC grant?
No! The Texas 1000 LLC Grant is specifically designed for first-time LLC formations in Texas. However, you are welcome to attend our training sessions and access other resources available through our program.

3. What does the Texas 1000 LLC Grant cover?
The grant covers the cost of forming an LLC in Texas and provides 12 months of business support, including mentorship, training, and networking opportunities.
